After months of slowly working out importation, this beautiful perpetual calendar from Kollektion Karthaus, Germany, is finally available for pre-sales

With a strong emphasis on the movement of the seasons throughout the year this calendar is ideal for adding to your nature table or area where your daily family rituals are performed.

This calendar has become popular on Instagram thanks to Cici @wildewichtel and she has kindly supplied and allowed me to use her photos for promotion of the presale.

A beautiful thing that Cici has done is to add a timber frame for creating  little scenes instead of the standard boards the calendar comes with. This is such a creative and beautiful use of the calendar I knew that others would want to try it too so I have found a frame in Australia that Cici believes will fit well and will supply one of these with every calendar.

This is a pre-sale price and offer. At this stage I just want to raise enough to get the calendars into the country (large minimum order quantity!) and after that I will reassess the price and expect it to rise to a minimum of $150 plus postage.

Some FAQs

How long will the presale run?

I’d like to end the presale after maximum a month, I will send out updates on quantities regularly to everyone who has purchased a calendar.

How long until I get my calenddar?:

As soon as I reach the number of sales to cover the import I will place the order. It will be roughly 6 weeks for manufacture and import.

Again, I will update customers as soon as I am given more information from the companies.

Will the calendar be in English? Yes! Or send me a message and get a language noted at the top of this information  

What happens if you don’t meet the import costs:

If presales are slow I will try and give it the full month to advertise and spread the word to do everything I can to get the calendars here. As soon as either that time has passed or I see we are just never going to reach it I will refund immediately. Plus you will probably receive a little thank you gift for supporting the presale ♥️

Will you ever try the import again if we don’t reach it?

Yes. I hope if I don’t reach it that is due to my inexperience and micro business scale. Hopefully as I grow I can try again and you will always be one of the first to know.

Now, a little more details about the calendar:

The perpetual Four Seasons calendar accompanies you throughout the year with its natural watercolor paintings. Day after day, week after week and month after month. Sustainable, instructive and decorative, it offers orientation throughout the year.

With it you can find your way around the course of the year and consciously experience the change of seasons as a natural division of the year. By changing the calendar panels by hand, one "understands" the order of the days of the week, months and seasons and gets a feeling for dealing with time. For example, children learn that not every month has the same number of days. It supports the understanding of numbers through the calendar days and promotes language and communication by telling what happens in which month.

The 18 calendar boards and 2 motif boards printed on both sides are made of birch plywood, the board hangers are made of beech wood. The base plate is made of lacquered birch multiplex board, on the back there are two flush-mounted wall mounts.

The aim of the Karthaus workshop is to offer people with disabilities a job that corresponds to their skills and interests.

For the wooden calendars in the Karthaus collection, we obtain our wood from regional suppliers and attach great importance to short distances between production and shipping. All of our products in the Karthaus collection are manufactured by us and leave our house in plastic-free, environmentally friendly packaging. Our warehouse and our shipping workplaces are supplied with energy by a modern electricity and heating system, so that we can store and ship CO2-neutrally. Under these conditions, we optimize work processes, save raw materials, reduce consumption and costs and thus make an important contribution to climate protection.
